Upstate, SC – Dec. 10, 2009 – CommunitySouth Bank & Trust (OTCBB: CBSO) today announced the promotions of four staff members.
Tracy Martin has been promoted to Vice President and Market Manager of the Bank’s Easley office, David Swank has been promoted to Vice President and Community Banker in Spartanburg, Tammy Painter has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the Spartanburg branch, and Beth Brewer has been promoted to Teller Supervisor in Anderson.
Martin has been with the Bank since it opened in 2005 and has more than 20 years of banking experience. Previously a community banker, she continues to be responsible for managing and expanding consumer and business banking relationships in the greater Easley area. She is an Easley Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and board member-elect, as well as a volunteer with Pickens County Meals on Wheels. She lives in Easley with her family.
Swank has served as Assistant Vice President and Community Banker for the last two years, helping develop customer relationships in the Spartanburg area. A resident of Spartanburg and native of Fullerton, Calif., he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Wofford College. Swank is a board member and treasurer for Healthy Smiles and is also on the board of the Spartanburg Young Professionals.
Painter joined the Bank four years ago as a teller and teller supervisor and was later promoted to customer service representative and branch operations manager. She is currently responsible for managing the branch, opening accounts and ensuring excellent customer service to consumer and business customers in the greater Spartanburg area. She has 18 years experience in the banking industry and lives in Spartanburg with her family.
With the Bank since 2006, Brewer oversees the teller line and assists with various operational functions at the Bank’s Anderson branch on North Main Street. She has an associate’s degree from Forest Junior College and more than six years experience in the banking industry. She lives in Starr with her family.
