NAMES DEE SMITH STAFF ACCOUNTANT AND
MICHAEL BURKETT IT/FACILITIES SPECIALIST
Upstate, SC -- July 10, 2006 -- CommunitySouth Bank & Trust today announced the additions of Dee Smith and Michael Burkett to its staff.
Smith has joined the Bank as Staff Accountant. Based in the Bank’s Easley headquarters, Dee Smith is responsible for accounts payable and bank reconciliations. Smith has more than 9 years of accounting experience, most recently as Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for Easley-based Smith Law Firm. A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama.
Burkett has been named IT/Facilities Specialist, and is responsible for the Bank’s communications, networking and technology infrastructure. Burkett has more than three years of information technology experience, most recently as computer hardware specialist for Oconee County. A resident of Liberty, Burkett holds an Associates Degree in Computer Technology from Tri County Technical College.
